I’ve been having a problem for the past few days. When I invoke Quicksilver B57 (3840) on Snow Leopard and type “dict” or “mail” or “terminal”, the first result is an entry called: ”Dictionary.app (Catalog)” ”Mail.app (Catalog) with no icon. When I try to open this, nothing happens, naturally. Same issue happensto other applications like Mail, Terminal, etc.
The path to the item shown below the icon window is correct, however it will not show the actual item or treat it normally where I can open it, descend into it, etc.
It just keeps showing the “Catalog” entry whatever that is.
Here solution how to fix it:
- Quit Quicksilver (ALT + Q double)
- Go to ~/Library/Caches/Quicksilver/Indexes
- Wipe out the cache files
- Run Quicksilver again and RESCAN catalog
Yahoo. That fixed it.
