Quick Silver I’ve been having a problem for the past few days. When I invoke Quicksilver B57 (3840) on Snow Leopard and type “dict” or “mail” or “terminal”, the first result is an entry called:  ”Dictionary.app (Catalog)”  ”Mail.app (Catalog) with no icon. When I try to open this, nothing happens, naturally. Same issue happensto other applications like Mail, Terminal, etc. The path to the item shown below the icon window is correct, however it will not show the actual item or treat it normally where I can open it, descend into it, ...(continue read)

After update up 10.6.2 I’ve noticed that my menu bar had all of it’s icons missing, including clock, istat, etc. Re-downloaded the update from Apple  is not helps…The problem in spotlight fix – If you are disabled the spotlight icon by modifying the Search.bundle in /System/Library/CoreServices Here  instructions how to fix it:Replace Search.bundle from your backup in  /System/Library/CoreServices ( click here to download a default version ).
