Quick Silver I’ve been having a problem for the past few days. When I invoke Quicksilver B57 (3840) on Snow Leopard and type “dict” or “mail” or “terminal”, the first result is an entry called:  ”Dictionary.app (Catalog)”  ”Mail.app (Catalog) with no icon. When I try to open this, nothing happens, naturally. Same issue happensto other applications like Mail, Terminal, etc. The path to the item shown below the icon window is correct, however it will not show the actual item or treat it normally where I can open it, descend into it, ...(continue read)

One of the oddities of my computer use style is that I don’t like to have my system go into screensaver or lock automatically very quickly. When I leave the keyboard, I like to be able to activate the screensaver/lock manually. Since I’m also not a fan of active screen corners, I want to be able to do so by keystroke. Annoyingly, OS X doesn’t let me bind a key to activate the screensaver. There used to be a couple utilities that enabled this, but they haven’t been updated since 10.3.
